Two Awards, One Unforgettable Night at the Architecture Leaders Awards

Last night, we had the immense pleasure of attending the Commercial Interior Design Hospitality Awards, where our studio, B8 Architecture, was shortlisted for Best Hotel Design Concept with our beloved NH Collection Hotel, Al Marjan.

On Wednesday, we had the honour of attending the Architecture Leaders Awards, where the B8 team was shortlisted across 11 categories—and walked away with two wins we’ll cherish for a long time.

  • Woman Icon of the Year – Kristina Bråteng.

  • Hospitality Project of the Year – NH Collection Hotel, Al Marjan (see the project at this link).

To be recognised among such a remarkable community of architects, designers, and creatives is a moment we’ll carry with us. These awards are a celebration not just of design, but of the passion, the late nights, the bold ideas, and the people who make it all possible.

To our fearless CEO, Kristina Bråteng — your vision, strength, and grace have guided us from day one. This recognition is so deeply deserved.

To RRS International Development, thank you for believing in our vision and trusting us to shape your hotel into something truly special.

To Amphora, our unwavering source of encouragement and inspiration — your constant support means everything.

And to the teams at Design Middle East and the Architecture Leaders Awards, thank you for creating a platform that celebrates the people, ideas, and ambition shaping the future of our industry.

We leave this moment deeply grateful, endlessly inspired, and ready for what’s next.
