Riviera Essence Honoured at the Design Middle East Awards

B8 Architecture is proud to announce that its villa project Riviera Essence has been awarded “Luxury Project of the Year” at the 2025 Design Middle East Awards, in a celebration of excellence that recognizes the most outstanding architectural achievements across the region.

Having been shortlisted in ten categories — including Architecture Firm of the Year, Commercial Project, Hospitality Project, Mixed-Use Development, Residential Project, Luxury Project, as well as individual nominations such as CEO of the Year, Architect of the Year, Emerging Architect and Woman Icon — the recognition places B8 Architecture among the most admired design firms in the Middle East this season.

Riviera Essence — a vision of refined living.

From the moment one approaches its gates, the home projects presence through a symmetrical façade, gently arched windows and wrought-iron balconies — softened by bougainvillea climbing over smooth ivory-toned plaster. Inside, the design abandons any stark minimalism in favor of a palette of tonal whites, pale stone and subtle shadow play, creating interiors that feel both luminous and intimately serene.

Architectural gestures — from the gentle curvature of openings to the choreography of fountains and terraces — guide the visitor through a journey of elegance and calm. With generous volumes and harmonious transitions between indoor and outdoor spaces, Riviera Essence becomes more than a home: it is a refuge, a timeless sanctuary that balances formality and softness.

The interior design expands on this experience: communal spaces designed for both quiet moments and grand gatherings, a master suite that evokes a private spa with marble, brass fixtures and light-filled en-suite; a rooftop pool offering skyline views; and even a basement lounge and a gallery-like garage — each corner conceived as part of a coherent vision of refined luxury.

Securing the top prize in the “Luxury Project of the Year” category is not only a recognition of the work on Riviera Essence, but also a vindication of the ambition, creativity and multidisciplinary excellence that B8 Architecture brings to every project. Being shortlisted in ten categories underscored the breadth of the firm’s activity — from hospitality and mixed-use developments to leadership and emerging talent.
