A Moroccan Spirit on Palm Jumeirah

B8 Architecture unveils the renovation of Moroccan Villa, a private residence on Palm Jumeirah shaped by the richness, geometry and craftsmanship of Moroccan and Islamic design.
The project explores how a distinctive cultural language can define a contemporary home without becoming purely decorative. From the outset, the intention was to create an interior with an unmistakable Moroccan character while preserving the warmth and sense of intimacy expected of a private residence.
A palette of warm, earthy tones creates the foundation for the interiors, complemented by marble detailing and intricate mosaics that introduce layers of pattern and geometry throughout the villa. Rather than appearing as individual decorative gestures, these elements form part of a continuous design language that connects the different spaces.
Pattern plays a particularly important role. Inspired by the geometric richness associated with Moroccan and Islamic design, the mosaics bring rhythm, depth and intricacy to the interiors, while the surrounding materials and restrained colour palette allow their craftsmanship to remain prominent.
The result is a residence with a strong sense of place and identity: expressive and richly detailed, yet warm, welcoming and unmistakably personal. Moroccan Villa brings together cultural references, material richness and contemporary residential design to create a home conceived specifically around its client.
